My work is unique and difficult to define because I think and work outside the box of common definitions of massage techniques and approaches. My guiding principles are understanding and compassion in creating a massage session that is, what you the client, would define as meaningful. I’ve been around long enough and have seen enough results of my work to trust my intuition and skills and believe in the power of the body to heal itself.

I believe intention is more important than technique. At least it is mostly. Sure, I have proficiency in several massage techniques (see my Offerings page), but so do a lot of other Massage Therapists. My intention is to work in a way that is receptive and rejuvenating to your body and you as a whole in order to facilitate healing.

What sets me apart is my keen ability to synthesize/create a Meaningful Therapeutic Massage session that aims to be practically effective as well as soothing and nurturing. This can only be achieved through a good understanding of you and the demands you place on your body and the compassionate application of techniques in strategic areas. Meaningful Massage work is achieved through collaboration between therapist and client. I like to say that I work with you, not on you.
